Did you know that Phillip J. Berg filled a lawsuit against Obama?

The only thing this Berg seem good at is hating on Obama... He continues with these frivolous law suits challenging Obama citizenship. Although when he goes to Court, and it gets dismissed and he continues on with his bogus crimes of filing false lawsuits! To make matters worse, he even as the nerve to ask for donation... What a sham! I have listened to this crock pot make his claims and allegations based simply on what he thinks... The ideal of truth needs to take place at some point, right? He wants to look at the mans birth certificate, his college grades, his pass port. Now what does all this have to do with the price of tea in china? Mr Bergs notion is because Obama will not provide his information that he must not be a citizen??? Lets look at it like this, maybe when he was born, if family knew that he was going to be the man... So they developed this conspiracy theory to protect Obama. So after 45 plus years they have concealed his information just so that he could become president? Corny, yea... So why can this Berg not get how silly his allegations sound... I have said enough, you read and listen and tell me what you think.

Obama appeals to Supreme Court
Posted on October 4, 2008 by goesdownbitter
Update October 26th, 2008: Philip Berg has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the ruling against his lawsuit. The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083
“I am totally disappointed by Judge Surrick’s decision and, for all citizens of the United States, I am immediately appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court. This is a question of who has standing to uphold our Constitution. If I don’t have standing, if you don’t have standing, if your neighbor doesn’t have standing to question the eligibility of an individual to be President of the United States - the Commander-in-Chief, the most powerful person in the world - then who does? So, anyone can just claim to be eligible for congress or the presidency without having their legal status, age or citizenship questioned. According to Judge Surrick, we the people have no right to police the eligibility requirements under the U.S. Constitution.”
Update October 24th, 2008: A federal judge in Philadelphia last night threw out a complaint by a Montgomery County lawyer who claimed that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was not qualified to be president and that his name should be removed from the Nov. 4 ballot.
Judge rejects Montco lawyer’s bid to have Obama removed from ballot, By MICHAEL HINKELMAN, Philadelphia Daily News
Update October 22nd, 2008: The Federal Election Commission files petition to dismiss based on plaintiffs lack of constitutional jurisdiction.
Out in the Bitter Hinterlands the question of whether Barack Obama is eligible under the Constitution of the United States of America has long been in doubt.
This link to What’s your evidence? is a detailed legal rejection of the Philip Berg lawsuit. In the comment thread below is additional information.
The Philadelphia Times-Herald reports here of a motion to dismiss the lawsuit of Philip Berg against Barack Obama on September 26th, 2008. [Note: The Times-Herald link is no longer active.] The text of the Philip Berg’s rejection of the move to dismiss is dated September 29th, 2008. The entire case history is here.[New filings are posted weekly. Read the latest entry by scrolling down.]
The lawsuit alleges that Barack Obama was in fact born in Kenya and thus ineligible to be president. Berg’s latest order demands Obama’s “vault” version ( certified copy of his “original” long version ) Birth Certificate; and a certified copy of Obama’s Certification of Citizenship; a certified copy of Obama’s Oath of Allegiance.
Posted on Barack Obama’s website Fight The Smears is his Hawai’ian birth certificate and this statement:
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
A broader issue however is that even though Barack was certainly born in Hawai’i when Obama was possibly adopted by Lolo Soetoro around age six that meant that Barack’s name was changed to Barry Soetoro and he may have become an Indonesian citizen as a child. This also means that the birth certificate posted on Fight The Smears would have been sealed per adoption laws in Hawai’i and a new record created listing Lolo Soetoro as the father. This documentation has never been shown. As with Kenya, Indonesia did not allow dual-citizenship at that time.
The Constitution of the United States of AmericaArticle IISection 1.[Paragraph 5:] No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Did you know what Cap and Trade is?

Did you know What Cap and Trade Is, and How Can We Implement It Successfully?

What is Cap and Trade?

The goal: To steadily reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide in a cost-effective manner.
The cap: Each large-scale emitter, or company, will have a limit on the amount of greenhouse gas that it can emit. The firm must have an “emissions permit” for every ton of carbon dioxide it releases into the atmosphere. These permits set an enforceable limit, or cap, on the amount of greenhouse gas pollution that the company is allowed to emit. Over time, the limits become stricter, allowing less and less pollution, until the ultimate reduction goal is met. This is similar to the cap and trade program enacted by the Clean Air Act of 1990, which reduced the sulfur emissions that cause acid rain, and it met the goals at a much lower cost than industry or government predicted.
The trade: It will be relatively cheaper or easier for some companies to reduce their emissions below their required limit than others. These more efficient companies, who emit less than their allowance, can sell their extra permits to companies that are not able to make reductions as easily. This creates a system that guarantees a set level of overall reductions, while rewarding the most efficient companies and ensuring that the cap can be met at the lowest possible cost to the economy. The profits: If the federal government auctions the emissions permits to the companies required to reduce their emissions, it would create a large and dependable revenue stream. These financial resources could be used to achieve critical public policy objectives related to climate change mitigation and economic development. The federal government can also choose to “grandfather” allowances to the polluting firms by handing them out free based on historic or projected emissions. This would give the most benefits to those companies with higher baseline emissions that have historically done the least to reduce their pollution.

What Would a Successful Cap-and-Trade Program Look Like?

The goal: To limit the rise in global temperature to approximately 2.0 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial levels by 2050 by reducing carbon dioxide and other emissions from companies as part of a larger plan for curbing global warming. The cap: To achieve this goal, the U.S. government should steadily tighten the cap until emissions are reduced to 80 percent below 1990 levels by 2050. Businesses would have to obtain permits entitling them to emit a certain quantity of carbon dioxide or its equivalent in other greenhouse gases. All permits would be auctioned off by the government. Emissions permits in the near term would likely fall in the range of $10 to $15 per metric ton of carbon dioxide or its equivalent. The trade: Companies unable to meet their emissions quotas could purchase allowances from other companies that have acquired more permits than they need to account for their emissions. The cost of buying and selling these credits would be determined by the marketplace, which over time would reduce the cost of trading the credits as trading becomes more widespread and efficient.
The profits: Initial estimates by the Congressional Budget Office project that an economy-wide cap-and-trade program would generate at least $50 billion per year, but could reach up to $300 billion. Approximately 10 percent of this revenue should be allocated to help offset costs to businesses and shareholders of affected industries. Of the remaining revenue, approximately half should be devoted to help offset any energy price increases for low- and middle-income Americans that may occur as a result of the transition to more efficient energy sources. The other half of the remaining revenue should be used to invest in renewable energy, efficiency, low-carbon transportation technologies, green-collar job training, and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Some resources should also be invested in the energy, environment, and infrastructure sectors in developing nations to alleviate energy poverty with low-carbon energy systems and help these nations adapt to the inevitable effects of global warming. Revenues from the permit auction would essentially be “recycled” back into the economy to facilitate the transition to an efficient, low-carbon energy economy and ensure that consumers are not unduly burdened by potentially higher energy costs.

Did you know that you can get rid of Onion smell on your hands?

Getting rid of that onion smell...
Did you know these things can help?

Lemon juice! I have a bottle of lemon juice in my fridge for cooking, etc. but I use it most for getting onion odor out of my hands.

Wash hands with shampoo. It works every time.

Cut a small piece off of your celery and rub it on your hands, knife, or other surfaces. The chemicals in the celery counteract the smelly chemicals in the onion.
Lemon juice works better than soaps to get onion smell off your hands

Rub peanut butter on your hands for 5 minutes. If that doesn't work, then rub your hands in warm oatmeal.
Toothpaste. Make sure your hands are fairly dry and put a gritty pasty toothpaste on them (not a gel). Rub it in good, between fingers and under finger nails. Rinse with warm to hot water. Repeat 2 or 3 times. If you still have a faint smell, apply a little underarm dedorant to your damp hands and rub in. That got it down to zero onions. Hands feel minty and very clean. Smells great!

Rubbing your hand on Stainless steel really works. Try it!

Baking soda. Pour it in your hands and wet a little to make a paste and rub it into your fingertips. Rinse and the odor will be gone and your hands have never felt softer.

Wear gloves

Vinegar also works. I use vinegar to take gas smell off his hands after working on the car. If it take gas fumes off, it will just about take any odor off your hands.
