Did you know that you as a Pro se Litigant that you can sue your doctor if you feel your doctor committed an act of negligence?

Did you know that Medical malpractice is a legal cause of action that occurs when a medical or health care professional, through a negligent act or omission, deviates from standards in their profession, thereby causing injury to a patient?

Did you know that the negligence might arise from errors in diagnosis, treatment, aftercare or health management?

Did you know that you as a Pro se Litigant that you can sue your doctor if you feel your doctor committed an act of negligence?

Did you know that you have 60 days from acknowledgement of the incident to send the doctor a notice of
intent?

Did you know that before you sue a doctor or medical professional you must first send them a notice of intent?

Did you know that you will also need a medical professional to refute the doctors opinion?

Did you know that Tennessee law requires that certificate of good faith be filed with the Court at the time a medical malpractice (now called a health care liability) lawsuit is filed?

Did you know that if you do not follow those steps listed that your lawsuit will be dismissed?
