COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was arrested late Wednesday after police said he stole a car and crashed into a building.
Investigators said Richard Glover stole the car on South Roys Avenue, located on the city's west side, just before midnight, 10TV's Patrick Bell reported.
He drove less than a mile before crashing into an Alcoholics Anonymous building on Sullivant Avenue.
Ernestine Little, who lives near the crash site, said she saw the incident.
"(I saw) a guy coming down the street and he hit another car and hit a wall," Little said. "I saw his face and asked him if he was OK. He said 'Yes' and took off."
Glover, 38, was arrested nearby. He was charged with receiving stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
Police found an open can of beer inside the car, Bell reported.
Glover was expected to be arraigned on Friday.
